Holly & James' Wedding at Hornington Manor

The beginning of December saw the beautiful Winter wedding of Holly and James take place. With a highly decorative festive theme throughout, it felt like Christmas had well and truly come early!

After the couple had said their vows at a Hornington Manor brides favourite – All Saints Church at Bolton Percy, the wedding party made their way to Hornington Manor, where things kicked off with reception drinks in the Hornington Gallery. Decorated with a Christmas tree in the centre and pictures old and young of Holly and James along the walls, the gallery looked like a festive treat! It was soon full of excited guests enjoying a few drinks before the main event in the Hornington Rustic Barn.

So much thought had gone into the decoration of the barn, and this was reflective throughout the wedding, to the mini stockings at everyone’s table place, to the Smore assembly station set up around a log fire in the courtyard.

Each table in the barn had one present on a seat wrapped up – which later revealed to be a personalised apron, and whoever received the present at their place was the designated carver for that table. What a fabulous idea – and great way to make everyone feel involved in the wedding!

Once guests had settled into the beautiful barn surroundings, it was time for the speeches which had the wedding guests in stitches and tears! This was followed by delicious food, which was provided by Tastes Divine.

Providing the entertainment for the evening was Groove Allstars, who have played at Hornington a few times and always provide the most fun!
