The weather couldn’t have been better for moving in to Hornington Manor on the Friday afternoon. It was gorgeous sunshine when Sam and Ben arrived to set up the wedding barn, and there after continued, enabling the party to BBQ into the evening and watch the setting sun on the front lawn of the Manor.

The tables looked beautiful, decorated with coral pink roses in bottles, and candles in jars of all designs illuminated the barn.

Samantha had a gorgeous full skirted dress with a wonderful train of white taffeta, lace, and studded with tiny diamantes. She carried a bouquet of vibrant red and orange Roses, Gerberas and berries, which looked stunning against the white of her dress. Kate and Amy, her bridesmaids wore long midnight blue gowns also studded with diamantes.

Sam was whisked away to the ceremony in a beautiful little soft top sports car belonging to Ben’s dad, and was met by her loved ones. Kelly and Matt were asked to do the readings at the beautiful church of Bolton Percy All Saints.  The newlyweds and their wedding party arrived to a relaxed atmosphere here at Hornington Manor with welcome drinks of hot Pimms, Prosecco, and of course mixed beers.

Three very special little guests were present, baby Harrison of just 7 weeks old, Jacob 18 weeks, and a gorgeous little girl called Alex, who looked so pretty, of 18 months

Sam’s dad gave his speech and then of course Ben was up thanking everyone for attending their special day, both Mums were presented with stunningly coloured flower arrangements in vibrant yellows and orange blooms. Ben’s brother and best friend were best men. They covered the chapters of Ben’s life with photos printed in a booklet for everyone to enjoy, which was hilarious!

Sam’s Dad came to have a chat at the bar later in the evening to express how emotional he was seeing his daughter for the first time in her dress!

Dinner was served up by the fantastic Alice from Homegrown Hospitality.

A great night was had by all dancing the night away to ” The Players ” band, lots of eating, drinking, and chatting, enjoying the party atmosphere.

Ben, Sam and their family and friends all enjoyed a lovely walk on Sunday with a very important stop off at the pub. The newlyweds were flying to Vegas and hiring a Mustang to drive down the west coast of America for their honeymoon. How jealous are we!

As everyone left on Monday morning with hugs and kisses, Ben’s Dad came to say goodbye, he told us it had been just the most perfect wedding and whole weekend and there truly is nothing that we could improve on! Thank you so much to Bev, Sam’s mum, for her lovely email-

‘Thank you again Jo for making Sam and Ben’s wedding such a perfect and special day and weekend. I can’t recommend Hornington Manor enough. Every one of Sam and Ben’s family and friends have been talking about it for the last 2 weeks and how stunning and amazing it is.

We will hopefully get to spend time with you again in the future.’

Huge congratulations to Sam and Ben, we loved being a part of your special day.
