Kirsty and Richard's Wedding at Hornington Manor

Kirsty and Richard’s big day had arrived and it was clear Kirsty had worked so hard on everything, with many of the finer details finally coming to light. It was evident everything had been thought out, from the personalised hangers, to hang the men’s suits on to the name places in church.

The day started at 8 am when the hair dresser and make-up artist arrived to get the bride and her bridesmaid’s ready for the wedding. Once complete, Kristy’s big moment arrived – to put on her wedding dress.

Kristy looked lovely in her dress – I spoke to Kirsty’s Dad at the bar after the wedding breakfast. He admitted to me that he hadn’t seen Kirsty in her dress until the morning of the wedding and it took his breath away!

Once everyoen was ready it was time for a morning full of photo taking by photographer Amanda from Cream Photography.

Photos over and everyone made their way to the church. Kirsty and her Dad went to the church in style, driven in a luxury Bentley.

Once the church ceremony was over the guests all made their way to Hornington Manor where they didn’t have to wait long until they were served delicious food from the choice of Pie Eyed, classic pie and mash or Percy & Lily which was traditional Thai food. Whatever was chosen by the guests – both were evidently enjoyed by everyone. It all looked scrummy!

7.00pm, and the speeches commenced, followed by cutting the cake and sparklers outside in the courtyard. The sparklers I think is a fantastic way to start the night off. It’s a spectacular sight to see the courtyard lit up!

The guests were in for a night full of entertainment with the first dance accompanied by band Louis Louis Louis, followed by the first DJ set by Night Owl DJ’s. The night carried on until the carriages at 12.00am, with everyone clearly enjoying the double dose of entertainment!

One of Kirsty and Richard’s Sons Alfie, had his 9^th birthday on the Sunday in the house after the wedding, making it a whole weekend full of special celebrations!

I’d like to wish Kirsty and Richard a happy married life and hope they enjoy their honeymoon in Reykjavik in Iceland.
