Unlike many wedding venues, Hornington Manor offers the flexibility for you to design your own bespoke wedding day.
Location location location
Celebrate your special in the recently renovated wedding barn, a stunning space with wooden beams and integral bar.
Decorated with flowers and set in a sun-drenched courtyard with the Manor house as a backdrop, the Lych Gate is a popular spot for civil ceremonies. Alternatively, you could choose from a variety of other outdoor locations with uninterrupted views over the grounds.
For winter weddings or if you prefer an indoor location, there’s the wedding barn, the grand backdrop of the West Wing Ballroom or the Hornington Gallery, with far-reaching views over the Yorkshire landscape.

Whether you have already made plans or would like a little help, we have dedicated staff with extensive experience on hand to ensure your day runs smoothly.

Since 2009 when the manor house was purchased, it has been lovingly refurbished to a first-class standard. Our guests often comment on the attention to detail and quality of the décor and furnishings, from the well-equipped kitchens and the cosy living and dining spaces to the luxurious bedrooms – all of which are decorated in plush contemporary fabrics and colours, with a high-quality bespoke bed as the centrepiece.
All of our wedding parties will have the house for a three-day weekend so that they can set up the day before and enjoy a relaxing run up to their wedding.
Yorkshire landscape setting
Another element that makes the venue extra special is the setting – with its stunning views over the Yorkshire countryside.
The Manor House is set in 300 acres of woodland, protected hedgerows, pasture and arable land. Here, sheep are raised and crops are grown to provide Yorkshire wool, hemp fibres, flax and lavender destined for the bespoke handmade beds made by the family firm, Harrison Spinks.
Sustainability is key – we even use by-products for the biomass boiler that heats the Manor House.
