Estate Handy Person

Hornington Manor is looking for a reliable maintenance person to help maintain our beautiful wedding and events venue.

We're looking for someone local who enjoys practical, hands-on work who takes pride in keeping grounds, buildings and facilities in excellent condition.

This role offers part time hours and would suit someone who is adaptable, self motivated and happy to take on a range of maintenance duties.

Duties Include:
- General handyman repairs
- Fixing doors, handles, blinds and miner building issues
- Touch-up painting and general upkeep
- Seasonal jobs including gritting, leaf cleaning, winter site checks
- Assisting with biomass boiler fuel loading and yard management

Sales and Events Coordinator

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and customer-focussed Sales and Events Coordinator to join our growing team at our luxury and rustic wedding and events venue.

This is a varied and rewarding role, ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, delivering exceptional customer service and helping bring special events to life.

As Sales and Events Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for a lot of our clients, dealing with enquires from initial contact through to event delivery. You will play a key role in converting enquiries into bookings, coordinating weddings and events, and ensuring our clients receive outstanding support throughout their journey with us.

Key Responsibilities:

- Respond promptly and proffesionally to wedding and events enquiries via email, phone and online channels.
- Conduct venue show rounds and assist with sales appointments.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings to achieve sales targets.
- Build strong relationships with couples, clients, suppliers and partners.
- Coordinate weddings, events and corporate functions from initial booking through to delivery.
- Communicate with suppliers, caterers and the wider venue team to ensure smooth events operarions.
- Support the events team during weddings and events, including evenings and weekends.
- Manage client payments, invoices and booking records using our diary and accounting system, ensuring all information is accurate, up to date and organised efficiently.
