The quaint village of Bolton Percy has a pretty 15th century church at its heart. If you are lucky, you may catch the wonderfully English scene of cricket being played on the green. Alternatively, prop yourself at one of the traditional public houses, with a fabulous selection of fine food and ales.

Nature Reserve

Set in 1.7 hectares of beautiful nature reserve, this old station yard is home to a wonderful selection of wildlife. It is the perfect place for a stroll, light picnic, spot of bird watching or to brush up on your photography skills. Look out for the Great Crested Newt, Six-Spot Burnet and many rare and delicate butterflies, which are often spotted amongst the flora.

Cycle Loop

With the Manor set amongst rolling fields and winding country lanes, there is plenty of opportunity to explore on two wheels. The Bolton Percy Cycle Loop is a pleasant 20 mile ride, which starts with a section of the Healaugh Loop, before continuing onto Wighill and Tadcaster, before making its way back to Bolton Percy via the flat, twisting lanes.
